GBWhatsApp is Nothing, But a Simple Upgraded Version of WhatsApp. In 2016 WhatsApp Release their Core Resource Files of WhatsApp Messenger for Testing and Experiment Prepose.
GBWhatsapp was an unofficial upgraded Whatsapp Version. Whatsapp officially released their core resource files for public reference. Many independent Android/IOs developers used it for testing and experiments.
One such developer was Omar (Twitter id is here) who released GBWhatsapp with extended features. But later, he discontinued it. Then Alexmods kept on upgrading it further. It is not known if this safe to use it or not until You are also a core Android/IOS developer.
